Senior Agile Coach

6 Month Contract, up to $110/hr, Hybrid 3 days onsite Los Angeles

Job Summary: The Senior Agile Coach drives Agile transformation by coaching teams, leaders, and stakeholders. This role focuses on developing training models, leading Agile ceremonies, and improving Agile maturity through hands-on coaching. Expertise in Jira and Confluence is essential, including creating custom dashboards and performance tracking tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver training for teams and leadership, create Agile playbooks, and enhance best practice documentation. Foster team autonomy and support Agile role development.

  • Team Coaching & Agile Maturity: Provide hands-on coaching to teams, mentor Scrum Masters and Kanban Coaches, and assist Product Owners in backlog management and stakeholder engagement. Conduct Agile health assessments and suggest improvements.

  • Facilitation of Agile Events: Lead Scrum of Scrums and Product Owner Syncs, support Quarterly Planning and ART ceremonies, and address organizational impediments. Partner with leadership to optimize delivery.

  • Jira & Confluence Expertise: Create custom Jira dashboards, reports, and filters to track team performance. Define Agile maturity metrics for data-driven decision-making and support forecasting and Agile OKRs.

  • Continuous Improvement: Promote Lean-Agile principles and Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban). Drive feedback loops and innovation cycles to align Agile practices with business objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field. 15+ years of experience in Agile Coaching or Enterprise Agile adoption. Strong expertise in Jira and Confluence.

  • Certifications: SAFe SPC, ICP-ACC, or similar Agile certifications preferred.

  • Skills: Deep knowledge of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Agile at scale. Strong training, facilitation, and leadership abilities, with exceptional communication and collaboration skills
